Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning both dry and wet messes in one go without the need to switch devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bin and refill their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads with an appropriate dock.

1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the simplest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start guide will have you up and running in no time with the complete dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops are spun at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a selection of brushes and attachments, and a user-friendly app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
You could, for instance ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are also excellent and the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only drawback is that the robot tends to crash into walls and objects at a high speed. However looking at the history of cleaning on the app will reveal exactly what the robot accomplished, where it's traveling, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
A large LCD screen on the docking station shows the maintenance tasks that are required like emptying the debris tray, and cleaning the dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank automatically, using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time as well, with the mop being able to operate for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is able to do 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you view every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot mop and vacuum, is the newest version. This year's model has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This enhances the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has an improved suction capacity, allowing it to pull up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners could be unable to pick up.
As with best robot cleaner 've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that helps it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, and determine if they're walls or other surfaces. It then can automatically alter its direction and clean the objects without a pause.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek, angular design is eye catching and comes with three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which restarts the cleaning mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child lock, and a home-button to send the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.
The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount to wash manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these advanced features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the battery life and maintain your components. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the quality of its performance.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its intelligent design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while reducing time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to offer 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful options available. The X40 is also very quiet when in operation and only occasionally bursting during modes changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 also has a side brush that is able to be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean curved furniture like table and chair legs. It also allows the robot to reach under furniture that is low-profile making it an ideal option for apartments or condominiums with small spaces. The side brush automatically tilts down when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that helps the X40 to avoid damaging floors by excessive back-and forth movements.
Unlike other robots, which are restricted to a single task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas, or vice versa. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is intuitive and user-friendly and the X40's clever features are easy to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, see floor plans and mapping, and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also track its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to clean and has many convenient features, making it an ideal option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a large 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, then refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It also can detect the moment when the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and alert you to the situation before it overflows.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive available, but it packs in numerous additional features that make it stand out. best automatic vacuum cleaner are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to clean floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and smaller dirt particles - and also pick up spills and wet spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from building up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that we've yet to see on other robot vacuums and mop models, and it could be a useful method of keeping your home clean for longer.
There are many choices, including the possibility to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or make use of the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has many options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also offers a number of functions that are not available on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects any dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and elegant. robot hoover is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list but it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping design is also excellent and the double-rotating mops work well on hard floors and in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
